A manicure is an important part of any look. To look attractive, you should keep your nails in order. Given the fast-paced pace of life, most ladies don’t have the time to visit beauty salons. The only solution is to learn how to get your nails in order on your own. Let’s talk more about manicures without a coat.

Features

The trend toward naturalness is actively evolving in the fashion industry. The basic idea behind uncoated manicures is to give your nails a neat look and present their beauty in as natural a way as possible.

The shape of the nail plate can also be altered.

The ideal choices are the oval and the circle. These are the most versatile and common shapes in terms of practicality and appearance.

When choosing these design options, it is advisable to opt for a short length, otherwise, nails without nail polish may break frequently. Don’t forget that nail polish is an extra layer that strengthens the nails, but many girls and women feel much more comfortable without it.

Keep contact with water and other liquids and detergents to a minimum.

Uncoated nail plates are affected by various external factors, including unfavorable ones. For example, dampness makes them more brittle.

Uncoated nails need to be strong and healthy to look attractive. Experts have put together a series of recommendations to help maintain the beauty of your fingers and, of course, your nails.

  1. Protein is an important micronutrient for the body. It should be sufficient in food to keep your nails strong.
  2. Regular use of special oils to strengthen the nails and the skin around the nails is recommended. You can get great results with the purchase of remedies as well as with home masks and baths with essential oils and other softening components.
  3. Natural lemon juice can be used to whiten nails safely at home. This way they will look more natural, neat, and stylish.
  4. Choose gentle nail care products. Soft nail files will do the job more gently.

The benefits of a manicure at home

Doing your own nails without a coat has some advantages.

  • Minimal cost. Even if you have to buy a set of tools and consumables to work with, the final cost will be much lower than what you would have to spend on a nail service technician. In addition, tools are used more than once.
  • Safety. You’ll always be confident that you’re using safe manicure tools. Professional salons run the risk of infection.
  • The result. When you perform a manicure yourself, you’re in complete control of the final result. It’s not always possible to convey to the master the idea of design.
  • Health. Even the highest quality lacquers spoil the condition of nail plates because of their chemical composition. And without a coating, nails will “breathe”, constantly receiving a sufficient amount of oxygen.

But an uncoated manicure done by yourself also has disadvantages.

  1. To ensure that the result is always successful, time must be spent gaining experience.
  2. You will have to buy the right preparations and sterilize your tools.
  3. The variety of nail polishes and decorations gives you many design options. The visual effect of a manicure without nail polish will always be almost the same (except for the shape of the plate).

Tools needed
To clean your hands yourself, prepare the following items

  • nail clippers;
  • nail clippers for cuticles;
  • a special paddle or orange stick to push back the cuticle;
  • nail files for shaping and smoothing;
  • cotton pads;

  • cuticle oil and other products to soften the skin;
  • scrub (for hands);
  • bath salt;
  • cream.

How to perform a manicure?

Step by step.

  • Dissolve the bath salt in warm water in a suitable container.
  • Soak hands in it for 20 minutes.
  • After a gentle exfoliation with the addition of a scrub.
  • Rinse off the rest of the product and treat the skin with a cuticle preparation.

  • After 2-3 minutes, gently massage the nail plate.
  • Using a chopstick or spatula, gently peel off the dead skin from the nail and cut it off with tongs.
  • Wash your hands and shape them with a nail file.

Tip: Glass files are great for thin nail beds and give excellent results, reducing the risk of nail injury to a minimum.
