The Difference Between Ombré And Gradient

Hi friends, we noticed a bit of confusion between ombré and gradient nails and we just thought we’d try and explain the difference between the two 🙂.

An ombré nail is a transition between colors of the same family on all your nails. Example: from a very light blue on your thumb to a dark blue on your pinky. There is only one color per nail.

Gradient nails are a transition between two or more colors on the same nail. Example: yellow at the base, red at the tip, the transition from orange.

I hope I explained it well enough, but in case I didn’t, here are some example images 🙂.
